I am a journalist based in Indian capital New Delhi. You can call me… say… an Activist… Journalist… or a Media Entrepreneur… always learning and trying something.
I believe in my dreams. I’m not that kind who spend their health gaining wealth. In fact, I cannot afford to waste my time making money.
I prefer going mad with truth than remaining sane with lies. As such, I am not afraid to call a spade a spade. At the same time, I am a fun loving person… Music-Movie-Masti.
I travel extensively to collect first hand news & views and to report with an objective approach. Nature, people, religion, custom, belief, tradition, caste factor, behavior and politics fascinate me. Politics interests me in particular as it affects everything in life.
Born at Muzaffarpur in eastern Indian state of Bihar and educated at Vidya Bihar, Prabhat Tara, St. Edward’s, St. Xavier’s and Sainik School Purulia, I acquired professional qualifications from R.D.S.College, Shyam Nandan Sahay College, School of Communication & Management Studies, India Education Centre, Institute of Computer Programming & Consultancy and Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology. I attended BBA Bihar University, Allahabad University and Delhi University for my higher education. I have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Political Science, History, Law, Public Relations, Journalism and Computers among others.
I have worked for major Indian newspapers and news agencies including Times of India, Hindustan Times and Press Trust of India. With an experience of over 18 years, I am an all-platform journalist proficient in print, video and audio storytelling. I love to interview people and follow developments in India and abroad. I am always open to fresh ideas and perspectives.
I strongly focus on breaking news besides having ability to develop and execute strategic media plans. I can tackle any crisis, emergency situation with my editorial judgment and attention to detail. I also have outstanding leadership qualities.
I had a crisis in career while working with news agency PTI. When I was fired, I thought I should move on as it was never the right place. But, then, I decided to take the challenge head-on. I could not even otherwise obtain suitable employment as PTI happened to be an influential news organisation. Thus, as the General Secretary of PTI Employees’ Union, Delhi, I am keeping the fire of enthusiasm burning, without which, I believe, there can be no warmth in victory.
My blog – Greater Voice – has been developed by me from my everyday experiences. Obviously, I spend some quality time here. This is about me, my people, my causes and things that catch my fancy. What I think my life is about is being happy. But I can’t be happy alone. Join me. My life is a community. Let’s be happy.
Thanks for visiting me. Have a nice day.
