Monisha founded ProInspire to address the gap between nonprofits that seek broader pools of talent, and business professionals who want to transition into the sector. Monisha has extensive experience working with corporations and nonprofits, and has moved between sectors over the last 10 years.
Most recently, Monisha managed the launch of financial products targeting unbanked customers for Capital One Financial Corporation. She developed an innovative prepaid debit card that generated industry-leading response rate and was submitted for patent approval. Prior to Capital One, Monisha was a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow with ACCION International, a pioneer in the commercial approach to microfinance. At ACCION, Monisha led the development of strategic partnerships with AIG and Visa International.
Monisha has worked with a number of leading nonprofit organizations throughout her career, including CARE, the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, and the Clinton Foundation. She began her career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen.
Monisha has a MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was recipient of the Dean’s Award, and a BBA with distinction from the University of Michigan. She serves as Vice Chair for the board of the I Do Foundation, a nonprofit that enables couples to incorporate charitable giving into their life celebrations.
