Some of the best sites I've been to have been short, sweet and simple, many people with this new era in the internet age have shorter and shorter attention spans and thus looking through a gorgeous site can be tedious. In regards to your site doctor S, there just isn't enough to grab the eye. You have your blog front page and only 1 menu option...too stark. Also, IMHO it shouldn't be through 'the View' of anything, it should be through 'the eyes of.' Content is there from what I've browsed through, but it's not enough for my eye to grab on to.

Second, there is no content thus no credibility for what you're trying to 'sell.' You have a decent address but unless your SEO is superb... Also, I have no idea what relevance that picture has to your domain name...tategallery but your a search bounce spot. Once again, just my humble opinion.

Firstly, you don't need to pay western prices to find a decent Chinese programme. I studied mainly in the northeast of China (Dalian) and split my time between studying intensive grammar and characters at a Chinese university, and conversational Mandarin at a private school. I would highly recommend Dalian as a good place to study Mandarin, as the north-easterners speak fairly standard Mandarin, and the city is a pleasant, clean and modern environment. If you're interested in Dalian, I can give you contact details for some language schools. Just let me know. Cheers, Sam
