Submitted proposal to a niche electronics fabrication headhunting firm - specifically to develop a desk providing bilingual US degreed electronics manufacturing electronics engineers. trained by a one man $400k biller
for 9 months before my first placement (can't figure out if he was just lonely or he had some exceptional forsight.)

* Shut-up and listen - When asked your opinion - ask back then - echo what they just said. (remember this was the 1980's)
I couldn't understand why the US expatriot electronics assembly plant (hire managers) would just keep blowing me off - Until I spoke to one
fantastic hands-on, people person - electronics manufacturing quality consultant said: They don't want bilingual/cultural to be a requirment.
