About Me

Meredith Kovarik is a consultant and blogger. Meredith’s area of focus in consulting is in supply chain strategy and leadership, but as someone who can’t stop dreaming about the bigger picture realizes the connectivity between and through all areas of business. Her blog The Gen-Y Experience is based on the singular and sometimes strange musings of this Gen-Yer as she tries to make their way through business and her mark on the wider world.

She grew up in Florida as the child of a teacher and computer engineer who constantly tinkered with technology in the house. Her childhood was filled with travelling, making forts out of boxes, and eating oranges off the trees in her front yard. She attended the University of Central Florida (B.S. of Engineering Technology, 2002) and Rollins College (MBA, 2006) where she learned all she thought she’d need to know. She then attended the school of real life and learned she didn’t know anything yet.

She is a member of APICS, a published author, and has been involved with the Miss America Organization, Odyssey of the Mind, and Society of Women Engineering. In her free time, she is a trained opera singer, beer aficionado and is learning the guitar.
