TOP IDEA: Mike Ambassador Bruny I guess I have to own up to it; I can write. I've been fighting it because I thought I wasn't any good at it (back in college). The other day I went to an event, did a recap (with my flair), sent it in and now a corporate entity wants me to blog for them. Ambassador Bruny, officially a blogger? Moral of the story: Let go of your old story and own your greatness....anyone need anything written :)

When someone told me a couple of years ago that I was likable and sociable person, I initially didn't believe her because I was too busy thinking about how socially awkward I was in high school. I had to accept that I had changed and that someone else can see me for who I am, not who I used to be.

Ann Ellingham Crutchfield I wear skirts and dresses more than slacks. I like the look AND find it near impossible to find slacks that fit right...the waist is always way to big. Am I showing my age by not wearing slacks more? Do I need to try harder to find some that fit?

I don't think dresses vs slacks make you look younger or older. Both are determined by how you style your outfit. If you want pants that fit (as with most clothes) the best path is to go to a good department store and find some nice slacks and have them altered to fit your body. The investment will be worth every penny.

Ryan Paugh My girlfriend and I have been talking to a personal finance guy about how we can save more money. One of the things he mentioned was that focusing on a couple areas where we could save money would be dramatically more effective than trying to focus on everything. Coincidentally, my friend Ramit Sethi just emailed me one of his recent WSJ articles with the same advice: http://nyti.ms/fzF9jL

The two things that are most useful that we've done is a monthly budget, plus using cash envelopes for variable purchases, like groceries, entertainment and clothing. The budget didn't work for me until I used the cash envelopes. Once the cash is gone, I don't get to spend in that category. It works! I feel like I have more money now that I tell it where to go every month.

This site is too much like a self-help book on infinite feedback. I want customers for my flooring business in the Denver Metropolitan area! There, see how easy it is to state your business, and go on? So far, I haven't seen one single person in here who doesn't sound like a patient at a phychiatric clinic. For $60,000 a year I'll cut through the nonsense at your company like Genghis Khan raiding villages in China, if you want to hire me. Like what you hear? It's called "clarity", "sense of purpose", and "maturity", all of which seem to be lacking here. Just say what you mean, and mean what you say, that's all I ask.

Mehnaz Thawer How do you handle major conceptual editing holes in manuscripts? What if the writer is not willing to do the research and/or make the changes? Do you just wash your hand of it, or do you push your writers to think about it?

I think if there are noticable holes you should ask the writer to be more descriptive and complete. If that means doing research it may be that the writer already has the information but needs to be pushes about it. I wish I could get someone to read what I have written...and push me. So far I have sent my book out and gotten litter response in return. Your writers should feel lucky that you want them to do better than they are.

TOP IDEA: Mehnaz Thawer For those of you with super-busy lives, how do you find time to work out/ go to the gym/ keep fit? When you set a goal that you know you can achieve, it gives you so much momentum!

Also, I workout with a partner! Accountability is a great motivator! My wife and I started out with 20 min 3 times a week, and now we are 1 to 1.5 hrs 6 days a week. Again, I can't say enough about p90X.. great workout program with little to no equipment, and a great meal plan with recipes.

Have an intentional day!
