Low-energy goal setting... http://xoco.posterous.com/low-energy-goal-setting I...am a slow person. Not mentally or physically. I'm simply most comfortable when my life is in 3rd gear. I get up early because I don't like to start my day in a rush. I don't like big "energetic" cities (except Hong Kong...there's a calm beneath the activity).

About Me

I'm a newly minted MBA with a focus on international business. I've been working in the health care industry for seven years, currently assisting hospital managed care departments with the revenue flow and contract issues. I also coordinate workflow between US based projects and an analysis team based in India.

Working in healthcare, I have developed the skills to flourish in detail-oriented environments built on change. I am adaptable, enjoy working on cross functional teams and thrive on challenge and variety. My project management background has enhanced my natural skills in problem identification and trouble shooting.

I have a passion for the global community, the language acquisition process and intercultural relations. I truly believe that these areas, combined with business, society and government create a gateway into the future workings of this world.

January 2010 to Present
Managed and streamlined underpayment projects to improve revenue flow for nationwide, multi-facility hospital systems. Facilities ranging between 200 and 750 beds.

Performed solution testing for newly acquired facilities to determine potential success of projects through the translation of contract requirements to SQL queries.

Responsible for establishing, recommending and maintaining the most efficient remote system access possible across multiple hospital platforms (AS/400, Meditech, Healthquest, Invision) and connection methods (Citrix, Cisco, custom web portals).
Designed, developed and managed knowledge sharing database for multi-facility, multi-system market
Developed training program and materials for both domestic and foreign employees

Responsible for front line learning of hospital patient accounting systems and subsequent training of analysts. Trained and managed work flow for India based analysts
