About Me

Meg Roberts works in the Social Media Marketing and Digital PR practice at New Media Strategies in Washington, D.C. Currently working in the entertainment industry, Meg is also interested in the hospitality and event planning sectors.

She graduated summa cum laude from University of South Florida with a degree in Mass Communication and a concentration in public relations. During her collegiate career, she interned at VOX Global Mandate and Fleishman-Hillard.

Meg has given several speeches to college students at George Washington University, the University of South Florida, the University of Maryland, and Towson University about the convergence of social media and public relations.

Several blogs, including Read Write Web, have listed Meg's blog, PR Interactive, as a top resource for Gen Y-related issues.

When she's not focusing on her professional interests, Meg loves to run, cook, watch sports, read, write, help students and recent graduates, and eat Thai food.
