• I graduated from Florida International University with a major in Business Administration/Marketing. My strong suits are building relationships, working collaboratively, planning events and activities, researching and analysis, establishing processes to improve efficiency, working with and learning new software programs, and developing PowerPoint presentations.
• Professionally, I am a Brazen Careerist, interested in online/offline marketing, public relations, business development and event planning.
• Personally, I am a SCUBA aficionado, lover of books, an undercover tree hugger, a dog (3 dogs actually)/home owner and a loyal & loving fiancée, daughter, sister and friend.
• I am curious about landscape architecture and urban planning and my dream is to shadow this career for a week to see what it's REALLY about. Anyone know one that may let me pick their brain??!!???!!
• Over the past 5 years, I have worked for Interval International in the executive office developing professionally within several areas including: administration, corporate strategy, M&A, and online marketing. As our company was spun off from InterActiveCorp (IAC) as Interval Leisure Group (IILG) - a public stand alone company, I was brought in to work under our CFO, helping to coordinate various activities within the investor relations program and assist him with administrative functions.
• During my tenure at Interval, I’ve developed strong internal and external working relationships that enable me to work as a team and contribute to a wide range of initiatives throughout the company. I’ve also gained a strong understanding of the business/industry and continue to learn everyday.
• While at B&BW I grew quickly from sales associate to a leadership role. I assisted the store manager with all aspects of running a retail store, including developing/achieving sales goals, establishing high customer satisfaction and maintaining store presentation and brand consistency.
• As a store leader, I developed and executed short term and long term plans to achieve goals set by district/region, ensured the maintenance of expected operational and merchandising standards and trained staff in areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising.
• Was recognized for excellence in consistently outperforming sales/customer service goals and for management of our stores product merchandising.
• I hired, developed and lead a team of 10 employees in the process of monthly floorsets and visual standards on a daily basis. During the bi-annual sales and holiday seasons, I managed a staff of up to 30 employees.
• In order to expand my experience in retail, I landed a series of amazing positions at Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Coach and Gordon's Jewelers
• From these brands I gained a better understanding of different industries, the value of branding strategy and built invaluable relationships with my coworkers and customers.
