Matthew Wagner I need some help in redefining myself. I have been in the financial sales business for the past 6 years but was laid off in November. After much soul searching I've decided I want to change career paths and do something more in the business administration/marketing arena. I keep getting calls from financial service companies, but I'm having a hard time getting anything in my field of choice. Any thoughts or suggestions?

It's not easy ...MoreI think the first thing is to look at your resume. In this economy, people are hiring people with the exactly perfect experience. It's not easy to be a career changer right now. But I think we should look at how your resume is formated and if it's highlighting the right information that would put you in marketing. (Marketing and business administration are very different. Given you have to really work your resume over, you would can't have the same one for both field)
