For over a decade I've been a part-time writer, creating comics, scripts, screenplays, articles, columns, technical documentation, etc. Up until now, I've been content to do it on a part-time basis. But now I want a career and am looking to get my foot in the door with my writing and creative talent.
This year, stoic in the face of the GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS, I am starting my career in either creative or technical writing. I would be an asset to any marketing or product firm.
I also have a passion for television writing. I really enjoy episodic format, and thrive in a writing team setup.
As head writer of Transylvania Television I am responsible for every script that leaves the writers' table, ensuring that they are not only entertaining, but are consistent with our other work. My duties include: managing a team of writers, scheduling and running writers meetings, coordinating communication between the writers and the showrunners, writing scripts, rewriting scripts, editing scripts, assigning scripts, culling scripts, and many other duties that end in the word "scripts."
I'm also part of the production team, lending my voice to show direction and marketing.
It's a pretty great gig.

As staff writer I developed and wrote scripts individually or as part of a large team.

I have had various freelance jobs from comic writing (self-published, and with independent companies), magazine articles, and scripts. I won't overstate it. I didn't make much money at it, and usually had another job to pay the bills. Still, writing is writing.
