I am a master's student in National Security Studies focusing on strategic analysis, with an undergraduate degree in International Relations. I have had a long-standing heavy interest and academic emphasis on China as well as Russia, with real-world experience through a London internship with the Henry Jackson Society. I am interested in breaking into the Washington D.C. foreign policy - national security and human rights - field or returning to the much-beloved City of London to do the same.
I have also studied German language and culture in Germany and enjoy working in diverse and unusual settings.
London internship highlights: Joint activities with the Legatum Institute, Royal United Services Institute Land Warfare Conference at the Banqueting House at Whitehall, and Republicans Abroad with Fmr. White House Spokeswoman Dana Perino. Regularly wrote articles and other publications for the society, offering top-tier analysis of the most complicated and rapidly changing international issues facing the trans-Atlantic community.
Other highlights from the D.C. area: Presidential Inauguration (by invitation) with various black-tie events including the pre-inaugural ball at Ft. McNair's officer's club and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum; Adm. Mullen at CSIS via YPFP; all-day event at the Pentagon, visit to Senate Foreign Relations committee room with Sen. Richard Lugar with Q & A; White House tour, Heritage Foundation, Middle East Institute, black tie events at the German and Russian Embassies; have also visited the D.C. Holocaust Museum. Other points of interest: The United Nations with UNA-USA and the World Trade Center Site. Buchenwald Concentration Camp, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, and other points of import and interesting cities here and abroad.

Samizdat International fights for human rights around the world. We believe that human rights are derived from Natural Law and are fundamental and irrevocable.
Samizdat International does not subordinate its cause or stifle its analysis on behalf of political ideology and some unspoken grander strategy.
Samizdat International exists because the most egregious abuses of our time are largely going ignored by those who should have noticed.
