I built and now manage the site for Georgetown University's CDACS' Democracy and Society Journal, found at democracyandsociety.com. The site features a blog, articles from the Journal, and news about CDACS and the affiliated Democracy and Governance Masters Program. I also tend the program's Twitter account: twitter.com/georgetownDG.
My responsibilities included managing a nationwide study of Medicare providers; writing proposals in response to RFPs from government agencies, foundations and international organizations; developing and managing staff positions, and developing and improving information management systems including department and group wikis, blogs, and a proposal and project library.
I served as the Washington, DC representative for YPFP’s technology team. My leadership experience includes acting as a member of the Executive team to planning the direction of YPFP with other executives, including the use of the YPFP website (www.ypfp.org) and other technology to achieve financial, membership and programming goals. I also helped manage tickets for the technology team, as well as recruiting and interviewing potential new staff members. In my previous position, Associate Director for Technology, I worked with YPFP's Executive team and the website's developer to develop the new design of the YFPF website. I also organized the beta testing, determined and prioritized the design changes and upgrades and solicited comments from the staff.
