Is tonight's webcast going to be recorded and posted or anything like that? I will be on the bus at that time of the webinar, and don't have flash on my phone :(

I'm glad to see you've hooked up with Matador for this as I'm fairly active over there. As this is my first "webinar" I was just wondering what to expect and whether it is interactive or not? I only ask because I may 'attend' at a place often work at (meaning a public space where I can't use a microphone).
Thanks,

I'm trying to convert my teaching English as a foreign language career into a writing career so I can be location independent. I love writing so I'll be happy, but my husband would also like to become location independent (from same career) and is not into writing. Can anyone think of any L.I. career possibilities for him? He really loves teaching and doing research into language learning. It'd be great to have something related to teaching/education if poss. Cheers!

I don't teach ESL but I live in Japan, and here's a link to info about teaching English in Japan: http://www.jetprogramme.org/ Good luck--and happy travels! 127 weeks ago

I've been location independent for four years now, having built my business up purely online from scratch - it was a lot of work, but now I can sustain myself, it was all so worthwhile. I've lived in seven countries over that time, and its becoming quite an addictive lifestyle - the thought of living back in England now gives me the shivers.
I'm a psychologist doing live online therapy sessions over video or IM. If anyone needs any advice about setting up something similar, just ask.

I'm feeling inspired. I used to run a small export business online from Japan when i lived there and used Paypal so that's no problem, but from what you've said I think it'd be a good idea to get some content going. I've already got two blogs, but they are unrelated so I've got some thinking to do. Cheers again! 132 weeks ago

Hi guys! I'm new here. I'm an English as a foreign language teacher and I also tutor literacy in the workplace. I want to change to doing travel and food writing full time. Any other writers here?

Just remember there's a difference between enjoying something as a hobby and doing it full-time. Like, I love design, but when I was working as a designer, I hated it. 132 weeks ago

Kia ora from New Zealand! I'm a teacher and a writer and I'm trying to become location independent, lose the teaching job, and write full time. Any writers on here?

Actually, 'popular lit fic' might be a good way to describe the genre I'm into.
to gain writing contracts revolving around food and/ or travel
to apply the skills gained during my teaching career to becoming a fantastic freelance writer
to get the travel stories I've encountered on the road out there for people to read
to become location independent
