About Me
Passion for web and e-media!
With 13 years experience in online recruitment and job search I have acquired a 360-degree knowledge of the job market business; vendors, products, prices, job seekers and recruiters.
In 1994, I was hooked with my first modem and email account.
Curiosity, enthusiasm, luck - and some hard work led me in 1997 directly into a dot-com company, Denmark's first CV and job-matching portal on the web.
From 1997 to 2002 we build a business from 4 to 150 employees with offices and customers in Norway, Sweden, Germany and especially in England where a large number of newspapers today use MatchWorks matching technology.
In 2002 I started my own company working as consultant for leading jobsites in Denmark, for recruiters and for people looking for a career within online media.
Today I am investor and board member of 2 start-up companies:
- XYW.dk - Recruitment of young people through social and digital media
- job2sea.com; an international maritime job portal owned by the Danish Maritime Leaders
On my blog and twitter account I share my experiences. I write in Danish, primarily - however, Googles translating tools are quite efficient and precise.
