Maggie is passionately dedicated to helping people realize and utilize their abilities. Whether it is helping people with their job search, teaching a group of teenagers, or helping someone with a disability gain employment, she loves seeing people grow and achieve.
Although she has particular interest in career development, counseling, personality psychology, and teaching; her passion is working with people with disabilities. Through her work with disability advocacy groups, education in rehabilitation counseling, and her own personal experience, she seeks to help people embrace who they are and work toward overcoming any obstacles that may come in their path.

Interviewed residents for monthly psychological evaluation. Wrote progress notes based on interviews and chart review. Assisted in admission meetings with prospective residents helping to explain procedures of institution. In this position I gained knowledge in communicating with residents and their families, interviewing skills, and time management skills.
