Ryan Paugh Even though I'm currently living in Madison, WI I'd really love to move back to the East Coast soon to be near more friends and family. I've sold my girlfriend on the idea of coming with me. Her first pick is somewhere in North Carolina. My first pick is somewhere in/around Boston, MA. She thinks Boston is too cold + doesn't have enough of an artsy scene. I guess I'm not really sure. I figured I'd leave it up to the experts. Any thoughts guys?

The course is split into 2, 4-day intensive workshops - 1 in October and 1 in November. It's in Southern California right near the John Wayne airport. I was able to receive a $1000 discount on the course, so I'm selling my spot for $3995. The regular tuition amount is $4995.

The website link I posted above will give you tons more information, as well as testimonials of the program. I really wish I could go as I've gone to one of Niurka's 3-day intensive workshops in the past and LOVED every minute of it. She's truly a transformational woman.

You can contact me directly via Brazen or send me a message at amanda@zenacoaching.com if you want to chat more about the course. Thanks!

Ryan Paugh The whole nomad lifestyle has always intrigued me and I've talked about it here before. Today I read a post (http://bit.ly/9Bfyhz) from a Brazen blogger who is living the nomad life and they brought up an interesting thing that I have always wondered about: What do nomads call home? I think that we all require a "home" on some level even if it's just a cafe you frequent to sit down and write. So I'm wondering: How do all of you nomads out there find your feeling of home?

For me at least it is hard to pinpoint one place I call home. I started my life in the UK, lived most of it in various places around the US, have traveled/worked in West EU for over a decade and now live/work in East EU. My personal and work life have taken me to many places and I honestly don't consider just one as 'home'. I don't really feel the need to belong permanently. It is at best, wherever my heart is still and my head rests for that given journey in life. This is probably why i love the LIfe (location independent work life).

I just got back from a vacation with my girlfriend and my parents and that felt like home even though were staying in a condo that wasn't ours. When I'm with the people that matter to me, I'm the most relaxed and comfortable. Sounds like home sort of means the same thing to us, Rhonda.

I've been blogging for four years, and I've made six figures each year, but each year it's been a really different mix. Here are some examples:

The columns on my blog labeled "Yahoo" - I got paid $1200 per column and I wrote once a week.
More than 200 print newspapers syndicate my blog posts. The pay is terrible - probably about $300/mo total.
I give speeches for $10k-$15K a pop, based on the content of my blog. At one point I was giving two speeches a week.
I get paid to endorse products ilke LinkedIN, Payscale, etc. I get paid $5K-$10K mo.
I got two six-figure book deals based on my blog - where I sort of repurpose the content. (But to be honest, I haven't delivered on the second one yet, so maybe that counts as debt and not earnings :)
I sold equity in my blog to investors - that nets me a salary of $150K /yr and my job is, among other things, to keep blogging.
You don't see ads on my site because I think it's such a bad way to earn money from a blog. The network you gain from blogging is worth way more than the ad dollars you could make from CPM models.

I've been tanking this week and love to hear your story. It's marvelous. I think your success has come from being a great writer and being brave enough to share your stories with the world. The network has grown from that as people are naturally attracted to your stories and talent. It's brilliant to hear of a woman who's doing so well online (or anywhere) and I haven't forgotten about interviewing you and will contact you soon to see if we can line it up. Thanks again!

Vickie Elmer Greetings all, I'm developing a series of job search tips for teens, as an offshoot of my business, which hires a handful of teens in the summer and supports youth and educational charities. (It's called Mity Nice, and we sell Italian ice and other vegan "sweet treats from the streets.") What's the best piece of advice you'd give a 16- or 17-year-old who wants a summer job in a company? And what's the biggest mistake a teen can make in seeking a job? Would love to hear your best suggestions.
