As an HR Business Partner, I work with managers and other departmental leaders to integrate effective HR managment processes and practices into daily operations and address a range of human capital needs. I am the liaison between Central HR and the College of Medicine by providing support such as:
- Developing and facilitating employee and manager training tailored to the end user’s needs
- Assisting with Compensation-related requests ranging from position reclassifications to comprehensive salary surveys
- Providing management coaching on Employee Relations matters including performance management, policy implementation, and reductions in force
I have served on several cross-campus projects, including a 6-month Recruitment and Selection process improvement, E-Learning Implementation, and FMLA Administration improvements.
As an HR Intern, I provided support to the VP of Human Resources by:
- Developing and creating training materials and presentations for company intranet using Camtasia Studio
- Updating the performance management program and compensation manual and communicating changes to employees
- Communicating results of monthly feedback survey through reports and presentations
This experience provided me with day-to-day HR knowlege, as well as experience working at the Headquarters of an organization with branches in three states.
