Ryan Paugh What are your favorite types of posts to read and comment on when you visit Brazen? I'm not sure if you guys realize this, but it's such a difficult job to filter through our database to find the best of the best. It's all relative + there's so much to go through that I could literally read blog posts 24-7. I like original, opinionated blog posts. I'm not a huge fan of cliche personal development posts. What about you? Help make my job easier :)

Sometimes people get stingy with knowledge and only share some of what they know, and I can usually tell. I want to know what the author knows--and something of their actual experience in the real world using that knowledge.

Lisa Treanor What are your thoughts on promoting a wedding blog? Has anyone had any experience/success in doing this in the past? I keep a wedding blog at brideandjoy.wordpress.com and have so far found the best way to promote the blog is through bridetide.com and of course by commenting on other blogs. I am particularly interested in gaining more email and facebook/twitter subscribers.

Lisa Treanor How do you guys approach marketing a personal blog? I have been keeping a bridal blog since I got engaged, but today I entered it into a bridal blog competition, and of course it's the hits that count. Strangely, I don't mind the idea of people I don't know reading about our wedding plans, but it's the idea of my acquaintances reading it that sits funnily with me, so throwin a link up onto Facebook seems weird ... Any tips? Cheers Lisa http://brideandjoy.wordpress.com

TOP IDEA: Kirk A. Norris So I started a blog of a fictional story that I am writing. Each post will equal one chapter. I'd really like to have it made into a graphic novel at some point. Doing the blog and making it a point to post a chapter a week is somewhat of an experiment to see if it will force me to be more steady about working on the story. Check it out if you are interested: http://atlantistheblog.wordpress.com/ Keep slangin'

Hey Alicia,

I'll admit that it was my biggest concern before posting the blog. It very well could happen (if it does I guess that means my story was pretty good :P)

With that said, I decided I'd rather share this story, albeit in an unconventional method, than keep it in a drawer forever. There are other avenues to publish the work, sure. However, I want to see if I can make this work this way. I could be way wrong, but I also could be right. So in summary, yes I am concerned about it, but my sense of adventure overwhelms my sense of fear.
