Lindy Gulanes 30 Days of Yoga: A month = about how long it takes to make and break habits. Starting Saturday morning, I will be attempting to practice all or most of the Ashtanga primary series every morning starting at 6am. 3 days a week I will be going to my usual studio where a group of us will practice Mysore style together. I have a regular personal practice, but I think it will be beneficial to challenge myself, and to be held accountable by my peers.

Lindy Gulanes I need to figure out what type of client management system I should use to maintain files/billing and a mode of communication for my yoga studio. Any ideas? Obviously MindBody Online is a contender, but I'm not crazy about their interface. I'm almost considering building an Access Database and using that. At least it is customized to my needs. Help!

It's always a good idea to have all of your info backed-up offsite or online.(That's the same reason I like Evernote for personal and project planning and tracking. My computer program auto-syncs with an online portal. Super convenient).

If you want to go the simple database route, I find FileMaker Pro to be much better than Access. A lot more user friendly and manageable. Good luck!

Kim LaSalle: Hi, Lindy: My favorite is Intuit. Made for small business; you can run account programs, interface with billing, etc. I highly suggest this.

Ryan Paugh How do you feel about Transparent Salaries? Would you be comfortable if everyone in your company knew how much money you made? Brazen Careerist has Transparent Salaries. We talked about them on 20/20 last year (can't find the link!). What do you guys think?

I personally don't care who knows how much I make, but I'm sure someone would find a reason to mind. I also know people who consider me underpaid, but if I'm satisfied with the complete package, again it's none of their business.

Ryan Paugh Hey everybody. I'm new to Yoga. I'm going once a week, but I'd like to go more. It's addicting! Question for the Yoga pros: Is there such a thing as doing too much Yoga in one week?

Ryan Paugh: I'm still struggling to go once a week! I like the encouragement in this network though...perhaps I can start pushing myself more this week.

It's an incredible way to start the day and even in a short 15min time span you can do so much. I also end my day w/ at least 30-40min before I go to bed. I don't have the time to go to classes without it cutting into my 'family time', so I found a good DVD that allows me to pick out 'timed' routines so depending on how much time I have each day I pop it in and I'm good to go!
