About Me

Linda Incorporated writes compelling job search materials, promotional copy, and corporate communications, and teaches individuals about conducting effective job searches. In addition, we write and/or edit admissions essays for graduate and undergraduate applicants, jokes for public speakers, and scripts for film, TV, and video.

One key to our success is asking clients all the right questions – and not stopping until we get all the right answers. After identifying each client’s unique value proposition, we’re able to present them in the best light (and wording!) possible.

Prior to Linda Incorporated, founder Linda Gutin worked as a: Staff Development Manager and Editor of an award-winning newsletter for the prestigious management consulting firm of Booz-Allen & Hamilton; Branch Manager for Career Launch Résumés; and Customer Service Supervisor for International Paper Company, where she conceived of You Can Bank on Bristols, a slogan used throughout a billion-dollar business unit for over a decade.

Linda has a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology – a human resource management discipline – from Columbia University’s Teachers College; and a Bachelor of Science in Math and Modern Languages from Union College, with terms abroad in Seville, Spain and Florence, Italy.
