Most people would rather get a root canal than write their own resume. I, however, love to write resumes...and am pretty darn good at it. In 2001, the entrepreneurial bug got the best of me; I quit my comfy corporate job and ResuMAYDAY became my reality. The company soon expanded from a one-person shop to an international corporation, boasting an entire team of resume experts that specialize in various industries. Despite the growth, we've never lost our personal touch. We'll never be similarly compared to those template-slinging, anonymous online resume services, no siree!
In the past few years, I have contributed to hundreds of career-related articles, editorials, tutorials, seminars and workshops. I am a frequent guest on Chicago television and radio, encouraging job seekers to have a ‘NO WIMPS ALLOWED’ attitude about their job search/career advancement. I also co-host an ever-lively online radio show at www.mydreambiz.net. My background in recruiting and management steered me to discover how much I truly enjoy helping people prepare for the fight of their life...their job search.
