Provide strategic counsel to clients ranging from small specialty biotech to large Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies and hospital systems. Create press materials and execute media outreach, manage event coordination, conduct extensive research into emerging spaces, the evolving healthcare policy landscape and provide recommendations for client activity. Develop and analyze high-level science research papers in emerging landscapes and health policy. Liaise with clients and physician spokespeople and facilitate day-to-day program elements, including tracking and managing program budgets. Counsel clients on developing social media platforms and identities for internal and external clients.
Monitor for new media opportunities for health care, technology and brand clients, provide recommendations for client activity and contribute to the implementation of key components for client programming, the creation of press materials, reports and internal status updates. Responsible for maintaining billing files, researching and pitching ideas to target media, overseeing and managing project elements; prioritizing a high volume of work. Regularly monitor the media landscape and keep the team and clients abreast to breaking industry news.
Responsible for day-to-day agency efforts on behalf of the client including monitoring and reporting media coverage, preparing and implementing public relation program components for clients, including media contacts, special event coordination, writing pitch points, fact sheets and additional media materials, distributing press releases and program writing and research.
