My name is Kristi Kehrwald, and I'm an enthusiastic learner and doer. I currently work as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and am looking for what is next, as my service year will be complete in mid-August 2010.

Working with volunteers and community groups to Get Things Done in Rochester, MN. Coordination for winter coat drive, free tax services, disaster response volunteer program, as well as volunteer leadership training, workshops and other Professional Development opportunities.

Traveling with a team of ten 18-24 year olds, completing service work in areas of Disaster Response, Environmental, Educational and Community Development work! I was based at the Sacramento, California campus, and worked in Austin, TX, Sacramento, CA, Kona, HI, New Orleans, LA, and Biloxi, MS during my year of service.
It was the best and hardest thing I've ever done, and made me love National Service!!
