TOP IDEA: La Donna Lokey Jobseekers: When you're applying for a new position, do you read the full job description or do you skim it? Have you ever considered or tried altering your resume, to gear your experience more towards the position you're applying for?

My interests are rather eclectic, so chances are that I'm not interested in the same stuff everyone else is. So there isn't much common ground.

Plus I'm usually more interested in doing something else than talking to people.

TOP IDEA: Kiyomi For any job hunters out there - if you already have a vastly extensive network of contacts and you've found all your own jobs via word of mouth in the past - do you have any new ideas on how to generate new leads and be even more proactive if one is already volunteering, taking meetings, temping, doing contract work, and signed up with every recruiter in town?

Kiyomi Suggestion: As a total Type A person, I'm sure others might enjoy this. I would LOVE some sort of "seal" or "official link" or "logo" for anyone who has ever had one of their blog pieces be featured on the main page of Brazen Careerist. This way, any "top" writers can have it seen on their Brazen profile, listed on their LinkedIn profile, or on their resume in an official recognized manner. Maybe featured blogs can be listed and easily accessible on our main Brazen profiles somehow.

Werkaholic I'm a fairly new fan... got converted on the episode I saw on a flight where Sheldon has to learn how to drive because everyone is sick of driving him around. Needing to return his Star Trek sheets because they stimulate him to much at night to go to sleep! Bwwwwaaahaaahaaa!!
