Kirk A. Norris I've recently been accepted into a Master's program in Australia. My next big obstacle is getting there and paying for it. Does anyone have any experience with scholarship or fellowship programs that work well for them?

Brooke Roberts: You should check out Rotary International. They have a great scholarship for post-graduate studies abroad. However, it's really competitive.

I was given this book by a friends father for graduation from high school. I kid you not. It's the only self help book I'll ever need.

Tim Moreland Anyone have any connections with a solid videographer in the Pittsburgh area? I am looking for some to do a job for me with experience both shooting video and editing. Recent graduates or students would be great! This could turn into a regular gig for the right person. Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Tim,

John Jaquish is a great person to work with. I've worked with him on several projects where he was a writer, director, videographer and steady cam operator. You can find him on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/johnrjaquish?ref=ts. Not sure what he's up to right now but he is good at what he does.

Kirk A. Norris Columbus is in the process of trying to determine a public image to represent the city. http://tinyurl.com/3akwquh What things do you think make our city attractive? Las Vegas has the "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" image, what should ours be?

Kirk A. Norris 10 weeks ago I started a blog for a fiction story that I've been writing. My goal was to post a new chapter once a week. Though I've had a few gaps, I am now up to 11 chapters and back on track. So far I consider the experiment a success. I have picked up a few readers here and there (including a friend who gets on me if I haven't updated). Having an audience (even a small one) relying on me for content keeps me motivated. A lot of publishers won't touch something you've already published, even if it is only on your blog. And how good is it? I presume it hasn't been edited by anyone - what sort of feedback are you getting?

Is this something that you are expanding? Having a blog and gathering a fan base is a good idea if you wish to publish a book, but the book can't be a conglomeration of blog posts. Though it would help with book sales if you had a fan base, publishers generally don't want to publish what's already available somewhere else for free.

Virginia Merritt Jezebel posted a great piece on their Dress Code section discussing "how to not look like crap when it's hot".( http://jezebel.com/5554723/dress-code-how-not-to-look-like-crap-when-its...) While geared mainly towards women, I think a lot of the tips are pretty universal and helpful. So how do you keep your sharp look when the temps start to soar?

Kirk A. Norris I've recently had the pleasure of becoming a contributing writer to Tyler Durbin's blog www.GenYJourney.com. The blog's goal in Tyler's words "is to develop a model for young people to use for guidance when they are making decisions in their high school and college careers as they embark on their professional career." Look for my bi-weekly style column "Fly on a Dime", Christina Lohman's "Savvy Seconds" series, in addition to the other great content from Tyler and other guest authors.

@David and @Ryan, I totally agree with you on Express. Their clothes fit fantastic and look great.

@Kirk: Topshop is a great store. I wish they had more locations in the U.S. They have a flagship in NYC that I've been to a few times. I'm not a big fan of ordering online because I like to try things on.

Another good spot is Uniqlo (http://www.uniqlo.com/us/). They're a Japanese company and they also have a flagship in NYC. Unfortunately you can't buy their stuff online yet.
