About Me

I’m a Graphic Designer with the Strategic Communications department at Cal State Monterey Bay. Outside of CSUMB, I run a graphic design consultancy, where I share my graphic design, art direction, marketing, branding and advertising expertise, knowledge and talent with small businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit agencies.

I prefer to take on projects that I can get excited about and work with causes I support.

• Designed marketing collateral serving campus clients such as student recruitment, development, alumni relations, special events, and the KAZU radio station

  Produced 175+ marketing projects annually, including art direction, graphic design, and coordination with external vendors for printing and mailing services, branded collateral, merchandise, and signage

  Consulted with campus technology staff and selected vendor to provide graphic and brand standards guidance for the Redesign of CSUMB.EDU (to launch Oct 2010)

  Supported the web designer in maintaining the CSUMB.EDU website and several other departmental sites through CSUMB’s content management software solution: Charlotte

  Supported CSUMB’s social networking and E-mail Marketing initiatives in sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Constant Contact

• Worked on the JMTC quarterly magazine, the Training Journal, as well as contributed to the JMTC website, and special projects. Received a Commanders' Award for Public Service for my dedication to quality and service.

• Worked as a Graphic Designer for the Automotive and Real Estate Departments, creating advertisements for the Daily Newspaper, as well as the Weekly HomePages, the Monthly Home Hunter, and the Tri-Monthly "HomePages Magazine". Among my regular accounts were clients like William E. Wood, Rose and Womble, Re/Max and Several Regional Auto Dealerships.
