The central focus of my career is to deliver significant ideas, insights, and information to the people who need them most. I can be a great asset to any project or employer who can use someone with that kind of focus.
I'm a fast learner, and know how to acquire skills on demand to adapt to a fast changing market. Six months ago I didn't know how to write even the simplest HTML. Today, I have a competent grasp of HTML, CSS Web Design, SQL Databases, and the Ruby on Rails web application development framework, the same framework that twitter was created on.
I'm currently working on a web project that will help artists and creative people make more money from their hard work. The project is currently in testing and should be released in the next couple of months. If it succeeds, it could very well change the way people do business on the internet.
I believe it's important for people to find their passion, to find something that motivates them to do great things--to change the world. That's why I spend part of my time writing and maintaining my blog unreadyandwilling.com. The articles I write on the blog draw on my experience of the corporate world as well as my growing awareness of entrepreneurs who have broken the 9 to 5 mold and are having a blast doing what they love.
I'm developing a web application that aims to help artists and creative people make more money doing what they love.
