I work as an assistant analyst for a small government contractor. We have contracts with the National Science Foundation for research and evaluation of federal educational programs.
I worked in the Programs and Marketing office for the Department of Resident Life at the University of Maryland. I was able to hone my leadership skills as an undergraduate in this position, by developing an outreach program for students from the surrounding area, with a focus on urban schools. I also wrote an effective grant proposal which allowed one of our programs to receive additional funding.
