I've worked in the technical side of the apparel industry for nearly 30 years. I wrote what is commonly referred to as the blue book of my industry. I run the leading site on the web for how to start a clothing line or run the one you already have, better (Fashion-Incubator.com). Also run the number one forum for designer-entrepreneurs. I've been profiled in too many to count publications and books, most recently two on autism (I have asperger's) but also myriad fashion related (French Vogue etc). I'm the international authority on "vanity sizing" (my research to be featured in an upcoming 5,000 word article in *the* leading international newspaper). Etc.
I've been self-employed for 15 years but could easily describe myself as a reluctant entrepreneur. I live and work from Albuquerque NM where my biggest worries of the day are my neighbor's lambs and whether my hens laid enough eggs for breakfast. Into sustainability 40 years before it was fashionable, I'm a long time vegetarian and transitioning off the grid.
Engineering services to the trade. Writing, consulting, training and some rabble rousing.
Focus on international economic development (aka "third world" economics). I thought I was going to be an international economist with the World Bank or IMF. My how things change.
