I graduated in 2006 with a music business degree from a small university in Columbus, Ohio where I was involved with local arts organizations such as the Jazz Arts Group and the Columbus Symphony. After graduation I packed up my life and headed to the big city of Washington, D.C. for an opportunity with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts followed by continued work in the non-profit sector as an event planner.
It was during this time that I, along with my best friend living in L.A., started a blog Save the Lobsters as a way of communicating across the country.
Keeping with the theme of challenges and changes, I have recently relocated to Cincinnati for an opportunity to try my hand in the for-profit world as a project manager
In my free time I enjoy reading classic literature, knitting, journaling, wine-tasting, letter-writing (as old-fashioned as it is) and of course, music of all kinds.
