About Me

My name is Justin Nicholson and I have a strong, aching desire to make a comfortable living while traveling the world. In my heart of hearts, I have always known I am an entrepreneur, and that working a typical 40-50 hour a week career until I'm dead is not for me. I always take chances if there is the possibility of leading a more fulfilling life, and have accomplished a few goals that I am very proud of. I am currently trying to figure out how to accomplish my most important goal yet, and I have barely begun! I NEED to figure out how to have a location independent career so that my girlfriend and I can lead a life of adventure and broadened experiences, as well as all the happiness that comes with having friends everywhere and feeling like everywhere is home. How do I do it? I have no idea. How am I going to do it? As I do everything: just start doing it and hope I figure it out along the way.

A few accomplishments I am proud of:

* Toured the US twice playing guitar in 2 different bands
* Decided to move to Hawaii in the 1st grade when another kid's Mom came in to talk to my class about her job as a flight attendant. I moved to Hawaii after high school by myself without ever having visited, built a life, and have lived here for over 7 years now.
* I built an amazing living space out of a warehouse in Honolulu, and have been able to rent out the rooms to live rent free for the last 5 years. The space has a movie projector with a 20' screen, recording studio, stage for live bands during events, and too many other awesome things to name here. I also get to live with 12 other musicians and artists.

I have enjoyed my time in Hawaii, but after graduating last December from college, I realize it will soon be time for me to move on. I hope to meet some individuals on this site that may be able to help me find a pathway to my dream of working remotely and traveling the world. I look forward to meeting you!

• I worked for the student paper at the University of Hawaii selling ads as well as working as a writer in the "features" section. It was a fantastic job to have while in school. The paper circulated 10,000 copies 3 times a week.
