About Me

Julie Houta is currently a Marketing Analytics Masters student at Bentley University. She is currently working for the online magazine Power Player Lifestlye magazine After earning a BS in Finance from the same school in May 2009, she worked as a full time online marketing intern at Bain & Company in Boston. In the past, she worked for the American Embassy in Paris, and helped promoting US defense contractors on the French market. She organized and attended multiple trade shows and has great experience in event planning.
Julie was born in Paris but traveled the world her whole life and being a globe-trotter greatly influenced her personality and career choices. She focused her undergraduate degree on intercultural relations and extensively studied cultural barriers to global business. Studying several foreign languages, discovering new countries and learning from cultural differences has made her an independent, adventurous and open-minded young woman. Always motivated by her dream to move to the United States, she learned English on her own at an early age and moved to Boston to complete her college education. From her French origins, she inherited a signature fashion style and a great interest for interior design. She is also involved in volunteer work and has helped several medical and associations.

Julie plans on working as a consultant, and possibly specialize in international mergers and acquisitions.
