About Me
Julia Moss moved to Washington, D.C. because she watched a lot of West Wing and didn't quite understand that it was filmed 6 miles from her house in Los Angeles. She is a young political journalist who is currently working as a staff writer at a daily online publication that focuses on health care policy.
After graduating college in December 2007, instead of relaxing on a beach, Julia jumped on a plane to Iowa and continued on to New Hampshire where she spent about three weeks covering the campaigns at her blog www.IowaAdventure.blogspot.com. In February 2008 Julia launched www.MossGrowsOnYou.com - her "political playground."
Julia studied Political Communications at the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University. While in college she interned at CBSnews.com and in the 2006 election unit at National Public Radio. In her junior year, Julia also served as the president of Buzzing for Change - a student philanthropic organization that raises money, cuts hair, and buzzes heads for kids with cancer. Julia graduated Phi Beta Kappa in December 2007.
