I think I will remove some info and make it less crowded
@jukiana: yup, i have done lots of volunteer and community stuff.
unfortunately all the knowledge i have abt Mech eng is only through classes that is why I mentioned "select coursework" in the resume. But, actually I will be doing some design work for our EWB Cambodia project. I guess I will add that to the resume.

Julia Watson Do you enjoy creating or consuming? I find when I create something (e.g. online content) I am happier than when I consume something (e.g. news, information).

With all the resume's they sort through, clean and easy-to read is best!

For a recent graphic designer client, I gave her all the words and she kept to a straight-forward resume except for the colored paper and her attached portfolio of work. I suggested she create a mini-portfolio she could mail or leave behind after an interview. She did a great job putting it all together and gets rave reviews for the presentation as a whole. But the actual resume, cover letter, and references pages were short, sweet, and to the very colorful point.
