• Assisting the Director of Development and team in researching, identifying, and reporting on prospective corporate and foundation giving partners.
• Performing various administrative tasks as assigned, including expense reports, data development and organization.
• Planned, organized, and assisted all of the details involved with a large annual youth conference at the United Nations attended by approximately 1,000 delegates.
• Recruited and managed a staff of Youth Assembly 5 interns and employees 7 days per week.
• Implemented social networking and outreach methods including submitting Twitter updates, creating and developing a Facebook profile and group (including updating members weekly on event details and engaging members in group discussions), sending weekly Constant Contact e-newsletters, and moderating event blog daily in order to attract a wide range of participants and sponsors.
• Performing office duties, including, but not limited to: creating and maintaining budgets and databases, answering telephones, greeting visitors, preparing informal and formal documents, including grant and sponsorship proposals as well as press and media packets.
• Planning and operation of international cultural exchanges, including handling numerous travel and performance arrangements.
• Hosting visiting international and national groups (as many as 70+ people personally), including planning and overseeing itineraries of visit.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with endorsers of the Foundation and its events (including Permanent Missions to the UN, NGOs, celebrities, etc.).
