I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, Major in English with distinctive honors as MAGNA CUM LAUDE from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City.
At present, I am an English Trainer and Instructor of Magister English Training Center. I am teaching TOEFL iBT and IELTS classes at the Perpetual Help College of Manila. With this profession, it enables me to harness my communication skills, interpersonal skills, facilitation, instructional planning and learning assessment and evaluation.
I have worked in the Department of Education-Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs as a Project Development Officer. This position enables me to be immersed into multifarious settings – leadership empowerment, entrepreneurship training, skills development, environmental advocacy, science education and training and work appreciation and training.
My formation and training inspired me to take leadership roles and social responsibility. During my college years, I have been an active servant-leader of the Central Student Government. I handled National Service Training Program (NSTP) classes and tutorial activities.
a. Provide quality teaching to clients in need of English Proficiency Programs and
works with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients to achieve company goals;
b. Responsible for teaching classes such as Skills for TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based Test), Skills for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and Oral Communication Skills;
c. Prepares lesson plans and materials that provide effective learning;
d. Follows the task tasked-based and communicative approaches to language teaching; and
e. Carries out administrative and record-keeping tasks associated with teaching assessments.
a. Conceptualize projects and write proposals on youth and students’ co-curricular programs and projects;
b. Provide technical support to various programs, projects and activities of the DepED-Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs (CSCA) such as, but not limited to:
- review of relevant researches;
- generation and integration of ideas and concepts useful in project conceptualization and development;
- coordination and administration of various programs, projects and activities relative to youth and students’ co-curricular concerns;
c. Provide assistance in the production of creative print materials and multi-media presentations through research, write-ups and editing tasks;
