People are invariably the opposite of what they claim most loudly to be. Bullies are cowards, the overtly moral are corrupt, the overly confident are terrified, the aggressively honest are liars, the officiously expert are unskilled. Strength, courage, kindness, honesty, excellence, and brilliance does not need to advertise itself. I have lived by this rule for many decades, and, I regret to say, I have yet to find it fail.

About Me

Chartered accountant and computer scientist. Joint founder and head of a consulting firm that grew to be a major national firm over 11 years. A former computer science university academic, and board member of various public academic, NFP and commercial entities. I am currently heading up the BPC international group and leading the programming team delivering the firm's flagship products - BPC RiskManager and BPC SurveyManager. BPC RiskManager is now in it 14th year, making it one of the longest established continuously updated and supplied Enterprise risk management systems.

I have a particular interest in corporate governance standards, methods and software systems, and the application of artificial intelligence to risk event prediction.
