About Me

From the beginning of my software development career, I seem to find a place in teams who are working on moving to the next level of compliance and excellence. I have worked on large project implementations in the retail industry and small projects that implemented one application in less than 90 days. All of these projects have one thing in common; raising the bar for business as usual by bringing in the next generation of solutions.

Sure, I am experienced and technically skilled as a quality assurance project manager. Yes, I have in depth and hands on understanding of relational database management systems and retail strategies. But, it is what I do during the hands on activities of the SDLC that set me apart. I keep in mind what the next step will be for growth, work out some solutions, and propose them to leadership along with a strategy to get there quickly. Then I use project down-time to get that done.

With a QA career spanning 12 years of web application development, testing, reporting, coordination and facilitation for finance, government, manufacturing and retail industries; I have used project processes both iterative, agile and waterfall. I quietly work with the team to gain knowledge and understanding to help them deliver project excellence, then work with leadership to figure out where you need to go to improve quality. • End to end test leadership for multi-generational initiatives with metric reporting and coordination of multiple small projects, large applications and many phases rolled into enterprise parent project portfolios and releases. High level of communication skills required for delivery to Enterprise Delivery Mgt and down to offshore resources. Rapid metric reporting required for monitoring burn rates and forecasting, flexibility in understanding end user business scenarios and technical knowledge of cross application messaging techniques. Scope of test leadership encompassed facilitation and oversight of all testing activities in the DMAIC phases from requirements to user acceptance. Creative test solutions for automated test tools readiness, test bed seeding, dashboard reporting capabilities, expanded testing coverage (traceability) and facilitation of performance improvements using automated smoke and load testing utilizing bank standard processes.

• Primary resource working with sales managers, developers, business owners and support specialists for full documentation and reverse engineering of 11 database web application modules from requirements to test script execution during 2 iterations. Delivery of compliance documentation using the Shell Method which is an integrated project and compliance methodology designed specifically for the development of business and operations oriented for database information systems. Managed three Tier Support team and enhance deployment and implementation manuals.

• Store of the Future Projects Gen I and II with Triversity GM. Team was responsible for new development of Point-of-Sale (POS) and back office applications which ran in over 5600 stores. System analysis, design, testing and implementation for core applications, documenting current store processes, writing business requirements, change control board and BRD sign offs. Certification testing of new or modified applications to meet technical and business BRDs.
