After graduating college, I ventured north from Florida to Baltimore, Maryland for grad school to study Industrial Organizational Psychology. I was also awarded a fellowship that allowed me to work in public policy research.
After grad school, I headed off to the Nation's capital to work for the largest association of psychologists in the world - the American Psychological Association (APA). I educate employers, psychologists and employees about the importance of healthy workplaces.
Manage the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program (PHWP) and Awards, which educate employers about work-life balance, employee development, health, safety, and employee involvement and recognize workplaces for fostering employee health while enhancing organizational performance.
Awarded graduate fellowship (1-4 spots available each year). Worked with researchers and consultants on public policy and public health research projects for various non-profit and government agencies.
