Jessica Malnik Hi fellow NYCers, I'm currently looking to relocate here. I'm in between Astoria, in Queens and the Park Slope or Fort Greene/Clinton Hill areas in Brooklyn. I've gotten mixed reviews on both from friends. I'm just looking for feedback. Which is better and why?

I agree with everything @Tan says about Astoria.

Tan Nguyen Hi Brazen Barterers, I am in need of some COPYEDITING services of 30 pages of ACADEMIC TEXT by end of weekend in exchange for design (print or web) services. I'm asking for a very good friend of mine and it would be a three-way barter--how exciting! I really want to help her out so If you have the skills and do this professionally, I'd love to hear from you. Tell me a bit about your experience and we can discuss barter options when you message/fan me! Would love to hear from you! Thanks!

Tracy Brisson Hi- looking for someone who can make me a few text based jpgs for my website. Must have access to Gotham fonts or similar. Will provide free career coaching in exchange (career exploration, resumes, social media, interviews- what you need). Please send me a message to barter!

Tracy Brisson: @Jessica and @Bil- Thanks so much for offering for this, but someone who owed me a favor did it for me. :) Thanks again!

Scott Shrum Besides your school's career center, what other resources are you using to find jobs? At Veritas Prep we believe that old-fashioned in-person networking is still the most effective way to land a lucrative job. What other resources have you found that work? What resources have you found that DON'T work?
