About Me

My Career has not been predictable, that is for sure! I thought I was going to go into Church Ministry and be a Music Minister and change the world! However, I've been led through this path in a fortune 500 company.

I've been in the call centers, I've worked in IT, and now I find myself in HR. I started with Succession Planning and Developmental policies and facilitated Talent Review discussions. Now I am involved in Social Media Recruiting and I enjoy interacting and influencing people across the organization.

My spare time is filled with community activities such as managing the local youth symphony, teaching piano, conducting a home-school choir, lecturing at my alma mater, and leading worship. I buy locally grown produce, enjoy green-smoothies, and make tasty salsa!

• I have conducted Talent Reviews and Succession planning for our HR department. I currently am on a team that drives State Farm Social Media presence from a recruiting perspective. I was an integral part in developing the Social Media Strategy for recruiting.

• I manage the activites of the Youth Symphony which includes rehearsals, performances, workshops, seating auditions, solo competition, and marketing opportunities. Since I have been the manager, we have adopted a collaborative technology as a repository for important documents, databases, and communications. I create and manage all communications for the Youth Symphony.
