You said you are somewhat new to Boston, you could write about new areas you discover and like to spend time at, compare Boston to where you prevously lived, or just general observations about the world around you. While this might not seem ideal, I think it would be an interesting read and it might come easy to ou as I am sure you have formed some opinions about your newer surroundings. Where did you migrate from?

Teach people something you know whether it's meditation, marketing or studying tips.
I'd personally recommend against blogging about a heated political race. In my experience (I've lived in Boston 7 years), people are especially passionate about politics around here and maybe that's not the safest route when you're just trying to establish yourself.
