2I drove the Pan American highway from Texas to Chile about 1.5 yrs ago. Challenging? Yes, but I loved it and would love to do something like two and four week small group tours (either Central America, or South). A 15 pass van could hold six people and their gear. Any ideas on where to finding funding to start something like this and how to market it?

Outdoor and travel enthusiast wrapped in a IT and business process geek. I have helped business with process improvement through varied methodologies and leveraging technology. I have traveled or lived on four continents. Driven the Pan-American highway from Texas to Southern Chile with my brother-in-law, two Labradors, and a Norwegian Elk Hound in a 2003 Toyota Tundra; camping most of the way.
Getting the most out of business and adventure travel require the same things. Know your goals, mitigate unnecessary (non-value add) risk, develop processes and thinking that keep you from chaos but allow for taking advantage of dynamic situations and creative impulse or improvisation.
