About Me

I'm a 20-something green transplant originally from Colorado. I recently moved from Washington, DC to Washington state, where I live with my two dogs and my cat, and wait patiently (not patiently) for my husband to come home from his deployment in Iraq.

I believe that it is up to each of us to make a difference and do our part to save the world, whatever that may look like. Along those lines, I do consulting work with green start-up companies, finding ways to meet their needs without exceeding their budgets.

My blog is about making balanced choices, what it means to live consciously, what balanced and sustainable living even means, and what it takes to get there - as people, as communities, and as a planet.
