About Me

I provide financial advice, specifically retirement planning advice, that generally encompasses saving for retirement, investment allocations, structuring income during retirement, and basic estate planning considerations.

In addition to working as a retirement planning specialist, I also do freelance work as a finance writer. You can find my work on a number of websites, most notably at About.com, which is a New York Times Company and my personal finance blog, Generation X Finance.

I have received the CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) designation from the College for Financial Planning, and I currently hold the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as the state of Michigan and Indiana Life and Accident/Health insurance licenses.
