About Me

I am a freelance writer residing in the birthplace of Grunge, Microsoft and Starbucks. A born and raised Alaskan, I moved out West following the strong scent of Starbucks coffee and raindrops, and have lived here ever since. Since moving to Seattle in 2002, I have found that this city has much more to offer than venti-nonfat-with-whip-peppermint lattes and computer billionaires. With all the amenities of a large metropolitan city: a diverse population, culture, and artistic palate yet with a hometown feel, it’s definitely the perfect setting.
