About Me

Born in upstate NY, went to school in PA and OH. Chased a girl to Indiana, married her and lived there for 8 years. Moved to the NYC area to be in a city that "gets me."

I'm really good at understanding people, coming up with ideas, and whittling all the fear and emotion out of a problem, and stating the problem in a way that can be faced and overcome.

I speak more literally than most people are used to, and have a peculiar sense of humor. As such, I typically give a false first impression as people pigeon-hole me into a category that I don't belong. This will often lead to frustration on their part as I don't act the way they expect. The result of this is that I'm a bit of an acquired taste. It takes some time for you to discard your initial impression of me before you can understand and "like" me. Once people make it over that hump, however, I tend to have very deep and caring relationships.
