I'm a blogger, life coach, speaker, yoga teacher and all-around solopreneur. I recently quit Google (after working there for over five years) to pursue my passion full-time. My book, Life After College (Running Press), came out in March of this year.
I took a leave of absence from UCLA during my junior year to start a company with one of my college professors, and while my friends were still partying and taking finals, I was struggling to understand health insurance, my 401(k) and how to be a good employee. That experience inspired me to create the Life After College blog - which covers a range of topics about life, work, money, personal growth, happiness and more.
My mission is to provide simple, practical tips that help people focus on the BIG picture of their lives...not just the details.
My role involved 1:1 coaching, manager training, and building scalable tools to help Googlers focus on their personal growth and development. In 2010 I launched a global program to provide drop-in 1:1 coaching to all Googlers, which involved teaching dozens of senior-level Googlers transformative coaching and career development skills.
Prior to my time in Career Development, I spent almost 4 years as a Senior Strategist on the Training & Development team, where I delivered AdWords product training and web development training to over 1,000 people.
I was employee number one -- helping to build an online political polling start-up company. I created all marketing materials, managed our websites, and managed over 18 advertising campaigns. I was also the office manager and took care of all employee onboarding, documentation, and restocking.
