7I recently wrote a post on my blog talking about the importance of aptitude in choosing a career (http://su.pr/2t3FK2). But what about aptitude for leadership? We often hear the phrase "leaders are made, not born," but aptitudes suggest just the opposite. If we can accept some have more innate talent for sports or music, why not leadership? And more importantly, is this egalatarian mythology hurting our organizations?
